She is the founder of Motivating African Youths initiative; a Pan-African movement geared towards galvanizing African
Women and Youths into attaining Socio- Economic, and Political Liberation through Strategic Partnerships one Community at a time with presence in over 5 African Countries. Ogenna serves as the Country President for World Women Leading Change Nigeria; an organization with presence in over 50 Countries of the World.
She is the CEO at Havillah Walter Company a Real Estate Brokerage, and Business Development Consulting Firm, and the Creative Director at Ogenna Walter Luxe which is a Fashion, Décor, and lifestyle Brand.
She was Miss Tourism Nigeria 2016 and has won numerous competitions, some of which afforded her the opportunity to represent Nigeria on a global stage.
She is a graduate of International Relations from the acclaimed Imo State University, and is currently studying for a MSC Degree in Mass Communication from the prestigious Baze University Nigeria, an MBA in Leadership and sustainability from the esteemed Robert Kennedy College Zurich Switzerland, and a certification in Real Estate Economics and Finance from the London School of
Economics. She holds a certification in Entrepreneurial Management from the reputable Enterprise Development Centre of the
Lagos Business School, and holds numerous certifications in Leadership, Public Speaking, Business Development and Innovation from the reputable Gotni and the Centre for PublicPolicy & Research apiece.
Ogenna Walter Ekwubiri was voted as the YOUTH ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR 2022 an award conferred on her on the 5th Day of November 2022. She was listed as one of the 40 under 40 CEO’s in Nigeria 2021 and won the prestigious African Development Ambassador award 2021 in Kigali, Rwanda. In 2017, she was conferred with a HONOURARY DOCTOR of PEACE and HUMANITY DEGREE from the Yeshua International School of Theology Isreal.
On the 5th Day of Sept 2022, she was announced as WEST AFRICAN YOUTH AMBASSADOR by the governing body of the WEST AFRICAN YOUTH COUNCIL and was Awarded with the NELSON MANDELA LEADERSHIP AWARD for EXCELLENCE and INTERGRITY.
Ogenna is constantly breaking boundaries as she believes that entrepreneurship is the way to go and that SME’s should be encouraged. She believes that when Women and Youths are empowered, the community witnesses growth in all ramifications.
Through her Social Enterprise MAY-I, Ogenna and her team have successfully executed several Humanitarian Projects in
MALAWI, UGANDA, TANZANIA, GHANA, RWANDA and CENTRAL AFRICA REPUBLIC.
In her Home Country NIGERIA, She has led to the the education and empowerment of over seven Thousand children, Youths and Women through Bespoke Social Intervention Programs . Ogenna Walter Ekwubiri dreams of a greater Africa, and is determined to actualize this dream in her life time.
