Additionally, she is a certified human resource professional and an emotional intelligence coach, holding a diploma in special needs education. She has also earned several certifications from the University of Derby in understanding autism, Asperger’s, and ADHD.

Adenike’s media career is marked by numerous accolades, including nominations and wins for various media awards, recognizing her contributions as a multimedia personality. In 2017, she delivered a TEDx talk in Gbagada, Lagos, discussing philanthropy and the role of empathy in society.

Driven by her passion for advocating for disability rights in Nigeria, Adenike founded the Amputees United Initiative, a social group specifically for amputees. Her dedication has seen her hosting events, moderating sessions, and participating in numerous panels. She is known for her confidence, outspokenness, and selflessness.

Adenike served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Persons with Disabilities. In recognition of her commendable work, she was appointed as the General Manager of the Lagos State Office of Disability Affairs (LASODA) in December 2024. In this role, she continues to champion the rights of people with disabilities.

As a Goalkeeper for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Adenike uses her advocacy skills to promote inclusion for persons living with disabilities in Nigeria. She is vocal about creating an inclusive state and society and tirelessly fights for the rights of people with disabilities.

Adenike is also an author, having penned her memoir titled “#Adénìké,” which chronicles her journey and experiences.
