In politics female youths often face challenges related to confidence in leadership. This can be considered an issue because many societal norms and stereotypes still exist that undermine the capabilities and authority of women in positions of power. These norms can contribute to a lack of confidence among young females interested in pursuing a career in politics, as they may feel like they have to work
harder to prove themselves or face greater scrutiny compared to their male counterparts. Overcoming these barriers and establishing confidence in women’s leadership is crucial for enhancing women’s representation in politics.
